An American in Paris, in America…

I have had Paris on my mind A LOT this year. I’ve never been there, hell, I’ve never even left the USA. I don’t even have a passport, but I do plan on visiting France at some point because honestly I just know I’ll adore everything about it. From the French countryside, to the gorgeous art & culture I love daydreaming about this place I’ve never been to. Since I can’t ACTUALLY go to France right now, I enjoy hitting up the France Pavilion at Epcot, when I need to visualize my daydream in a more real way.

The France Pavilion at Epcot has SOO many great treats. From cute looking shops, to gourmet treats and plenty of champagne, the France Pavilion offers me a small peek into the country I want to visit so badly. They’ve got a small Eiffel Tower, Fountains, and an aMAZing garden display. I go there all the time just to grab brunch with friends and I LOVE to dress like I’m actually in Paris.

I know it’s probably a super American thing, but for some reason I always think classic stripes, mixed with a lot of black a simple make-up when I think of Paris. So for this trip I paired a super soft red and white striped cotton tee with black ringer detail, with a simple black chiffon cami and a black mini skirt.

What Parisian chic outfit would be complete without a lovely Baret? If you haven’t noticed yet this winter has been filled with subtle french accessory details and baret’s are making such a comeback this season. I LOVE a classic black or red one, and was able to pick up this amazing felt one that compliments any French inspired ensemble.
