Casual Friday

While I get to opportunity to wear casual clothes basically every day of my life, something about Fridays is special. Obviously they are the start to fun family weekends that I love, and even if I have no plans of leaving the house I like to dress as if I’m going out to give myself a positive vibe for the day.

Today I paired White Skinny Jeans (which are NON-Maternity and SUPER Comfortable) with a simple spring Plaid Top from Express. I love the color combination in this top. Aqua and blue is such an unexpected color combination that it catches the eye and makes you look super fashion forward, without having to steer too far out of your comfort zone.

To finish the look I threw on some great beaded & woven bracelets, marbled studs from The Limited, and my blush lace-up sandals from Francesca’s.

Now I have no idea what I’ll be doing, but I’m ready for any opportunity that presents itself today! What are your plans for the weekend?

  1. So cute and sounds so comfy! I need to put cuter clothes on more often (I’m a SAHM). It doesn’t take much time and it makes me feel so much better about myself!

    1. Yes, it’s hard to get motivated to leave the comfort of yoga pants sometimes I know, but it’s totally worth it. I generally start by throwing on concealer after I brush my teeth and that motivates me to do my make-up and then I want to wear clothes to match my face! haha It definitely brightens your day up though and you feel like you can accomplish so much more!

    1. thanks! I was really happy, also it helps that when Hubs is taking the pictures he laughs and makes fun of my posing, which makes me laugh…
