We aren’t just celebrating Memorial Day today!! Today marks officially 7 days until I’m scheduled to have The Second Clark! I’m trying to get in as many stylish bump posts until then, while I also knock out packing, preparing, and cleaning for the new baby’s arrival. Thank God for all this nesting energy that’s kicked in lately!
Today’s outfit was inspired by the traditional Memorial Day Weekend colors red, white and blue. However, since I don’t have any red or white that really fits, I paired this fantastic white&navy printed paisley tank top from Summer 2015 at Old Navy, with this fun khaki drawstring skirt. While it is hot, this pregnancy has caused some unflattering bloating, making me a little more self-conscious about my arms, so I topped the look off with a gorgeous lightweight navy cardigan.
This whole outfit is super cute for any kind of casual day. James and I spent the morning in Channelside watching the sun come up over the water, and it was really fantastic. I finished this casual outfit off with some tan strappy sandals (similar), and my favorite summer sunglasses.
It was nice to get out and have a coffee date this morning with my husband. The rest of the day/week is all about baby prep, including making a paper airplane mobile! haha What are your plans for your extra day off?
Happy Memorial Day,
