I have been getting really serious recently about kicking the rest of this baby weight in the butt before Cash’s first birthday rolls around. We recently made the decision to go carb-free til Halloween, and while we aren’t COMPLETELY kicking carbs, meaning we still eat fruit and vegetables, taking away all the bread in our lives hasn’t been too bad! Last night I made these for dinner and they were still delicious! When you don’t have unnecessary bread around your burger you can really taste the flavors of the ground beef! Here’s how I made these tasty bacon-filled burgers!
Ingredients – Makes about 4 burgers
1/2 lb ground beef
2 tbsp minced garlic
1/8 cup worcestershire
1 tsp salt
1/8 cup crumbled bacon
1. Combine all ingredients in bowl, mix together throughly.
2. Cook 6 min on each side in skillet set on med-high (or until the wellness of your choosing)
3. Add cheese, turn pan off, cover until cheese melts
4. Cut strips of romaine lettuce for “buns”, add toppings of your choice!
