Honestly since Carrie Bradshaw had her tulle moment in Sex and the City I have been obsessed with full tulle skirts and the street style that surrounds a great tulle bottomed look. When I found a great deal on a high-low tulle skirt at Target (seriously it’s on clearance for under $15 right now!) I knew I had to purchase this seriously fun piece.
Seeing the amount of versatility that you get with a tulle skirt really helped me realize what a great piece of clothing this will be to add to my closet. Not only can you really dress it up for weddings, showers, and date nights, it can be worn in such great casual ways with tee shirts and sneakers and touches of denim for just a regular day where you wanna feel a little extra.
While I know I’ll end up with a black version at some point in my life, I selected the blush option in this skirt because I felt that the millennial pink color was perfect for this season and is SO adorable for Valentine’s Day!
For a Blogger Babes Brunch at Henri Bendel, I paired this tulle skirt with a black and white striped OTS bodysuit and fun black western inspired belt. Then to really play up the western angle, I added an embroidered denim jacket and super cute cream block heeled booties. If you see me in a heel 9/10 times it’s a block heel, they’re just so much more comfortable and easy to walk in than anything else that gives me good height!
Bendel’s also let us preview their latest collection for Spring and I am low key obsessed with this little leather gingham bag. Nothing screams Spring is Here to me like gingham and this bag is such a great pop piece! For those more on the safe side when it comes to handbags, they just launched a new round of 712 shoulder bags in some of the most divine colors.
I love the 712 collection because of the immense quality of the bag. All hardware is jewelry grade so it won’t tarnish in the long run, and the lambskin leather is so buttery smooth and soft you can’t stop touching the bag! Ultimately I couldn’t decide on either piece but they’re still on my list for potential Spring Splurges for sure! Which do you like better?
